The suspect believed to be the recent fatal violence at Brown University reportedly took his own life on Thursday evening, as stated by officials.
He was found at a storage location on Thursday evening, as reported citing an enforcement source. The same individual is also believed of the murder of a Massachusetts Institute of Technology professor at a home in the Boston area.
“He took his own life this evening,” stated the chief of the Providence police department during a press conference.
The chief identified the deceased man as Claudio Nevis Valenti, a 48-year-old individual enrolled at Brown University.
This news follows a major police presence at a storage facility in Salem, New Hampshire earlier on Thursday. Witnesses described seeing numerous agents in tactical gear entering the premises.
