Tributes Continue for the Reiners as Medical Examiner's Findings Are Sealed.

More than two weeks following the shocking loss of renowned filmmaker Rob Reiner and his partner, photographer Michele Reiner, peers and loved ones continue to honor the couple.

A Heartfelt Farewell: Cary Elwes Remembers His Director

Writing on social media, actor Cary Elwes, who rose to fame in Reiner's iconic movie *The Princess Bride*, stated he only now felt able to post publicly about his personal sorrow.

"Sufficient time has gone by that I can at last express my sorrow into words," posted Elwes, noting that his initial encounter with Reiner made him fall in love. "Once we started sharing more moments together I realized this was someone I wanted in my life."

The actor posted behind-the-scenes footage from the film, commenting that he doesn't recollect "one day without mirth".

"This story is about affection, allegiance and giving. Principles that Rob valued immensely. That is part of the many reasons he was the ideal person to direct it," Elwes wrote.

He went on to praise Michele Reiner, saying: "To say that they were a formidable pair would be an oversimplification. My heart still aches every time I think of you." He ended with a quote from *The Princess Bride*: "Indeed, death cannot stop true love but life is pain without you."

Martin Scorsese Remembers a Fellow Artist

In a different essay, acclaimed director Martin Scorsese shared memories of Reiner, whom he initially encountered in the 1970s.

"From the start, I loved spending time with Rob. We had a instant connection for each other. He was hilarious and sometimes sharply witty, but he was never the kind of guy who would dominate the room," Scorsese wrote.

Scorsese highlighted Reiner's cameo appearance in his 2013 film *The Wolf of Wall Street*, embodying the father of the main character.

"He was skilled at improv with the best. He was a virtuoso at comedy, he worked wonderfully with everyone, and he comprehended the emotional dilemma of his character," Scorsese added.

Court Proceedings: Autopsy Reports Sealed

In a new development, a Los Angeles court official ruled to block the disclosure of the Reiners' autopsy reports, following a petition from the LAPD.

A court order placed a restriction on the investigation to prohibit the public release of "all case details, notes, reports or photos" associated with the active case.

The coroner's office had already determined their deaths were the consequence of murder, with a public database listing the cause as "injuries from a sharp object".

Aftermath and Reactions

Following the deaths, public personalities offered different responses.

Ex-President Donald Trump posted on the matter, making provocative remarks that were met with immediate backlash by many individuals.

Podcaster Joe Rogan added his perspective to the those speaking out recently. Talking on his program, Rogan characterized the remarks as "disappointing" and remarked they revealed a concerning deficiency of sympathy.

Rogan concluded by remarking that an aide should have stepped in when the impulse to speak on the passing was made.
